What it is

The flagship Kids 4 Kids program

The Kids 4 Kids Leadership Program was established in 1993 and boasts a membership of over 50,000 children. The after-school program runs after school or in the evenings, once a week for five weeks, with each session 90 minutes in length. It’s designed for any child between 6 and 13 who wants to develop leadership skills.

We use cooperative games, team-building activities, original music and stories, role plays and discussions to make the program fun, engaging and informative. The cooperative games help us read the group and see where they need leadership strategies, and we use those same games to teach the concepts.

Parents are impressed with their children’s excitement after attending just one session. There is no other program like the Kids 4 Kids Leadership Program.

  • Kids live leadership through play, not a lecture
  • A change parents notice after one session
  • Activities tailored to each age group
  • 30+ years and 50,000+ kids of proof

Inside a session

What happens in 90 minutes

Every session moves through the same proven flow. It runs at your child's school, year-round, as our flagship program, distinct from the shorter lunch-hour program and the one-off school assembly.

1

Cooperative games

High-energy challenges that warm the group up and let us read where they need leadership strategies.

2

Team-building

Hands-on activities where kids have to cooperate, surfacing real leadership moments they can name.

3

Music & stories

Original songs and stories that make each leadership lesson stick long after the session ends.

4

Role plays

Safe practice for the situations kids actually face, so the right response becomes second nature.

5

Discussion

Guided conversation that ties it together and turns the experience into something kids can use.

Confidence

Kids find their voice in the games and discover they can lead, then carry that self-belief back into the classroom and the playground.

Character

Respect, responsibility and integrity are built through how kids treat each other in every activity, not lectured at them.

Courage

The role plays and stories give kids the courage to stand up, step in and resist peer pressure when it counts.

Kids and educators remember this program

★★★★★
You might not remember my name, nor do I expect you to. It's been over a decade since we last spoke, and at the time I was about 10 years old and part of your after-school program. Today I thought of you, and here I am emailing you because if nothing else you deserve to hear this: thank you for being such an influential person in my life and helping me develop into the young adult I am now.

★★★★★
I have seen many anti-bullying presentations over my twenty years as an educator. It was nice to finally see a program that teaches children usable strategies. It was engaging, funny and very informative. I highly recommend Scott Graham as a presenter and an educator.
