Experience the Extraordinary
The Camp Kahuna Sleep Away Camp combines traditional camp activities like swimming, fishing, cooperative games, and camp-wide themed events with the extraordinary. We have had visits from internationally recognized BMX Bike Stunt Teams, rock bands like the Spoons, Kings and Glass Tiger, Olympic medal winners, magicians, animal experts and athletes like Pinball Clemons. Every year, we search for presenters who inspire and motivate our campers. We strive to exceed your expectations.
A Passion for Developing Young Leaders
At Camp Kahuna, we believe every child has the potential to be a leader. Our programs are designed to inspire campers to discover and use their unique gifts to help both themselves and others.
Every summer, we develop unique programs that foster personal growth and help campers build the core characteristics of a leader: respect, responsibility, taking initiative, integrity, and trust. Through a mix of engaging activities and workshops, we help children build resilience and become confident self-advocates.
We’ve seen incredible personal growth in our campers, and we’re dedicated to helping them become the leaders of tomorrow.
Ages
The Camp Kahuna sleep-away camp program is designed for campers ages 7 to 12.
Meet Our Dedicated Leadership Team
Our staff is the heart of Camp Kahuna, and they are hand-picked by Camp Director Connor Parkin and his leadership team. We seek out individuals who not only love working with children but also embody and teach the principles of leadership.
Our team is primarily made up of university-aged staff with prior summer camp experience. Each staff member has undergone a thorough police background check and is certified in First Aid and CPR.
Guiding our program is Scott Graham, our Director of Leadership, who has been recognized with awards from the Governor General of Canada. As a bestselling author of six children’s books, he tours across Canada, Europe, and the UK, teaching valuable leadership and anti-bullying skills.
We’re proud to say that no other camp in Canada offers the same level of leadership and direction as Camp Kahuna.
Our Facilities & Camp Menu
Meals and Dietary Accommodations
We offer delicious and varied meals to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Each meal includes a few different options to ensure every camper finds something they love.
We can accommodate campers who are gluten-sensitive or lactose-sensitive. Campers with a gluten sensitivity must be able to eat the gluten-free options we provide. For those with a lactose sensitivity, they must be able to take Lactaid before meals.
Our Camp Location
We are proud to partner with Camp Sidrabene to provide the perfect setting for our camp adventures.
Camp Sidrabene 2026: For our full-week sleep-away camp in August, we call Camp Sidrabene home. This breathtaking 65-acre property in north Burlington is nestled against the Niagara Escarpment. Campers sleep in cabins that each have their own washrooms, and we have access to a full industrial kitchen, an air conditioned gym, basketball courts, an outdoor pool, and Bronte Creek for rafting.

Every year we strive to create an incredible camp program because our goal is to provide the most unique and incredible camp experience for the children we serve. We will exceed your expectations.
